March 2013 Favorites

I really can't believe spring is halfway over already. I mean, it hasn't even started here! It's colder in March than it was in February. And I am beyond ready for spring. If we ever get lucky enough to even get one.

I haven't really been using many new beauty products this month, simply because I am happy with the makeup I use every day and what I do works well for me, so there isn't really a reason to try anything new.

Coffee Don't get me wrong - I've pretty much always been obsessed with coffee, but this month I've just been really enjoying it for some reason. I drink mine with milk, if you were wondering, but now that I'm fasting (which means no animal produce whatsoever) coffee is kind of gross to me - I can't stand black coffee. Oh well.

"Lover of the Light" by Mumford & Sons I'm pretty sure this song isn't exactly "new", but I discovered it from tumblr (yay for tumblr) and have been listening to it every single day (multiple times a day). I just love everything about it - the lyrics, the melody, the whole song is just lovely.

"Wild for the Night" by A$AP Rocky (feat. Birdy Nam Nam & Skrillex) I mentioned this in my Spring 2013 Playlist and I have been listening to this a ton on those mornings when all I want to do is wake up. It's so energizing and fun to dance around my room while getting ready to!

Gossip Girl This show ended last fall, but I think it's safe to say that I will never forget it. I'm pretty sure I know everyone's lines in the first episode. No joke. Well, this past month I decided to re-watch the whole show in order - I'm on Season 4 now! Some of my friends still haven't seen this show and I don't recommend anyone to start watching it because it will consume your life. I warned you.

Sperry Original 2-Eye Boat Shoe As I said before - spring has not yet sprung. But I did go to India for a week and I wore my Sperrys every single day. It was the first time I've worn them since I got them for Christmas and I love them! They are so comfortable and cute - does it get any better?!

Green tea I set a goal for myself to a cup of drink green tea every day in March, and even though I didn't drink tea at all in India (it was way too hot for tea!) - I didn't miss a day. I think I'm addicted to tea every night before bed.

Maybelline The Eraser foundation This foundation was kind of a spur-of-the-moment purchase, but I regret nothing! It has pretty light coverage, but just enough for me; it's moisturizing, but also not too oily. Also, it's from the drugstore, so it's super cheap! So if you're looking for a new foundation to try out - this is the one!

The Body Shop Mango lip butter This has been my favorite lip balm for quite some time, but for some reason I just stopped using it after a while. This month I began using it again - every morning when I wake up and every night before bed - and I love it! It keeps my lips so moisturized - and besides, who doesn't like their lips tasting like mango?!

What were some things you've been loving this month? Let me know in the comments below!

Spring Things: J.Crew Haul

I am in desperate need of three things - spring (it's still below freezing here), basic bottoms, and spring things. Incidentally, these three words sum up the order that I just placed from J.Crew.

Everyone knows and loves the J.Crew chinos, and I really need shorts for the spring (if it ever comes, that is) - I've heard so many good things about them! I will also tell you that I've heard they run a bit big - all J.Crew bottoms do - so go a size down if you're getting these. Khaki shorts are extremely basic - but believe it or not, I have no shorts. Not one pair. So I could use some basic things in my wardrobe. Hot pink 3" are more fun than basic, but can be styled so many ways!

Pixie pants (the navy ones on the right) are also a classic - if you haven't heard about them, I'm pretty sure you've been living under a gigantic rock. They're basically really thick leggings - perfect if you live in leggings, like I do. The cargo scout chino pants (pictured on the left) I wasn't planning on purchasing - I just ran into them while browsing the website, but I absolutely fell in love! In the picture on the website they are worn with the bottoms rolled up a bit - a very relaxed, laid back, summery look.

Hope you guys enjoyed!

How To: Forget

We all have those days when we don't feel like doing anything - everything you do seems going wrong and you just want to lay in bed all day in cry. And don't tell me this never happens to you, because I know for a fact that it does.

Whether it's something little or something major that you feel bad about - I've found that these things are what help me forget what's happening for a while and move on.

1. Call a friend A friend you haven't talked to in a while, to be exact. Catch up on what's been happening in their life, laugh, talk about anything and everything! In addition to rekindling old memories and talking with an old friend - it will help you get your mind off of whatever that is bothering you.

2. Take a walk A nice, calm, quiet walk alone with your thoughts is one of the best things you can do to concentrate on what's happening and figure things out. First of all, it'll help you calm down and relax, but you'll also get some exercise in! I, personally, love walking around the city in the evenings for hours and then coming back home to a nice hot bath.

3. Have a cup of tea Tea is the best drink to relax. Honestly. Coffee gets you energized and can actually trigger stress, water is...well, water. But tea is warm, yummy, and just plain heavenly. It will calm you down and give you some time to feel sorry for yourself in order to move on.

4. Read a good book I'm pretty sure this one is my number one favorite out of all of these. Who doesn't love reading?! I find that reading a good book is the best remedy to stress and just the best way to forget - you're living in another world, after all! An hour does the trick and makes you more relaxed and stress-free.

5. Sleep it off This is my second favorite (just because I can't always just fall asleep if I want to) out of the five - it's definitely super effective. Sleeping it off makes everything so much easier and better. You'll wake up in the morning/in a couple of hours feeling refreshed and complete. And besides, don't we all love sleeping?!

Anyways, hope you all enjoyed :) Let me know what your favorite things to do when you're trying to forget something are!

The Shopaholic Tag

As all of you probably know - I have a huge shopping problem. I shop online all the time and I probably place an order about once every week. Oops.

Anyways, I found this tag on YouTube and I thought it would be fun to do, since the last tag I did was a looooong time ago!

1. Would you consider yourself a shopaholic? :: Definitely! I love to shop and it's kind of scary/dangerous...

2. How would you classify your style? :: I'd say preppy, girly, and classy. I rarely wear anything "trendy" and I dress really simple.

3. What store can you not leave without buying at least one thing? :: Definitely Target! Target has everything - clothes, makeup, school supplies, snacks - it's impossible to leave the store without getting at least one thing!

4. Where do you find the best deals? :: RueLaLa! I raved about this app/website in my February Favorites - it's a website that has flash sales and you can find great deals there!

5. What designer are you willing to splurge for? :: Definitely Tory Burch. I just love her! Her designs are a classic and her leather goods are such great quality! Still mad about not getting the Reva flats - will get them this summer!!!

6. Do you have a go to shopping outfit? :: I don't have a specific outfit, but whenever I go shopping I try to wear a dress and flats - it can get so frustrating to take 20 layers off and put them back on when you're trying things on!

7. What is your guilty pleasure? (Not including makeup) :: I assume this is talking about a "shopping" guilty pleasure... I'd have to say expensive shoes, or just shoes in general. 99.9% of the shoes I buy are expensive, because I believe that it's better to have 5 pairs of really nice shoes that 50 pairs of super cheap ones. Plus, I have a ton of foot problems, so expensive shoes fit best ;)

8. What is one staple clothing piece you cannot live without? :: Nude tank top! I probably wear one every single day and it's definitely something I cannot go without!

9. What is a trend you hope never goes out of style? :: Jeans? I don't know - is that a trend? My style is pretty classic, so I don't really follow trends, but also if pastel is a trend - that, too! I love pastels for the spring and summer!

10. What trend did you love that passed way to quickly? :: As I said before - I don't follow trends... But I love the color blocking trend and I'm not sure if we're over it yet or if color blocking is still "in" for the summer this year...

11. Who is your fashion icon? :: I honestly have so many! Jackie O, Marylin Monroe, SarahBelle93x from YouTube, Coco Chanel, Audrey Hepburn - I honestly can't remember all of them!
This was pretty fun to do, so if you want to do it - leave the answers below!

Incredible India

I don't think many people are aware of this, but I've had an obsession/fascination with India ever since I saw Jenna Marbles' "Oops I'm in India" video. Just the whole Taj Mahal story and the culture holds something that I still cannot forget.

I just flew in from New Delhi this morning and I can't help but feel sad (but excited to be back home at the same time) - India was so much fun! My family was actually invited to a wedding there - my mom wasn't able to go, but I went with my little sister and my dad. The wedding was beautiful - as was pretty much everything else about in the few cities that we visited (Jaipur, New Delhi, and Agra).

India is definitely the most unique country I've been to so far - there's such a contrast between dirt poor and mega rich. There are monkeys, elephants, and cows everywhere - so fun! The Taj Mahal was gorgeous! I cried when I saw it for the first time I was so excited to see it!

Can you tell I'm completely obsessed with the Taj? I took, like, 150 pictures of it. No joke.

We went to three different cities and saw so many temples and mausoleums - all of them were gorgeous! We went up to Fort Amber on elephants, which was super fun, and for the wedding everyone wore traditional Indian clothes - they literally feel like pajamas!

Anyways, hope you guys enjoyed this little rambly post :)

5 Things I Can't Leave the House Without

I rarely leave the house without my Longchamp. It's so roomy and basically holds my whole life in it. Every single thing I (or anyone else) might ever need can be found in my bag - everything from an agenda to snacks or perfume.

However, carrying around 25 tons on your shoulder everyday can get a bit annoying, especially when I'm only heading out for a bit or for times when I don't need absolutely everything.

Besides the absolute necessities (shoes, shirt, and pants, for example) - these are the things that I absolutely cannot leave the house without:

iPhone This baby saves my life dozens of times a day. Really, I don't even need an agenda if I have my iPhone with me (but I still keep one - who doesn't need a Lilly planner?). If I ever remember something that I need to do, I can just type it up in my notes really quickly; other times - when I don't have my laptop with me and I have some time on my hands - I can type up (or start typing, at least) a blog post. And, besides, who can go a day without Instagram?!

Caffeine I can't go a day without coffee. I just can't. On those mornings that I don't have enough time for coffee or just when I'm feeling extra tired and sad - these are a lifesaver. Chocolate-covered espresso beans - talk about delicious!

Blotting sheets My skin is pretty weird - my T-zone (chin, nose, and forehead) is super oily and my cheeks are usually pretty dry. I don't wear makeup every single day, but when I do my skin isn't usually that oily, simple because I use powder. I find myself using these every single day - whether I'm wearing makeup or not - and I don't know what I'd do without these babies!

Lip balm If this isn't your number one essential - I don't know what is. No one likes chapped and dry lips! My all-time favorite lip balm is the Jack Black one - it's super moisturizing, lasts a long time, and comes in super yummy flavors!

Hair ties Hair is definitely not my number one forte. I usually just wear it down and let it do whatever it feels like doing, but on some days it just doesn't happen. I think ponytails are super cute, and you never know when you might need to put your hair up!

Hope you all enjoyed this post - let me know what your everyday necessities are below!

Favorite Spring Nail Polish

I am beyond ready and excited for Spring - it's still freezing cold here in Moscow! Thank gosh I'm going to India! Actually, when this will be up - I'll already be in India! Hello warm weather and spring nail polish!

Before I start, I am so sorry for the sketchy camera quality - my professional camera broke, so I had to take a picture from my iPhone! Oh, and I applied 2 coats of each nail polish, just so you know ;)

1) Chanel "May"
The name says it all - I mean, it's named after a spring season! This is from last year's Spring collection, so I'm not sure if it's still available or not, but I love this nail polish. A beautiful, creamy pastel/barbie (but not an "in your face") pink - a color you can wear with anything and anywhere! I find that 2 coats is enough with this nail polish - 3 will be too thick. It's also super shiny (not sparkly - shiny), so you don't really have to use a topcoat - but I still do, since I like my nails so shiny that I can see my reflection in them, basically.

2) OPI "Samoan Sand"
I may or may not have mentioned this nail polish before, but around the Summer of last year I became absolutely obsessed with this color! A beautiful, creamy nude - also something that is very neutral, girly, and classy. It goes with everything and chips aren't as visible, which is why I prefer to wear this when I'm going on 4-5 day trips, so I don't have to touch up. I usually wear 3 coats with this nail polish, but 2 coats give a more sheer, natural look - which isn't bad, either.

3) Sally Hansen "Lacey Lilac"
I'm pretty sure everyone owns (or has seen) this nail polish - pastels are always "in" for Spring, and this is a perfect "Easter-egg" color! I'm not usually a big fan of purple shades, but this one is straight up irresistible. I find that 2 coats of nail polish is just the right amount for this shade - the color is opaque and applies very smoothly.

4) Essie "Turquoise & Caicos"
After years (well, okay, maybe months) of hearing people rave on and on about this nail polish - I finally bought it. Essie offers amazing colors and their quality is impeccable! I can definitely say that my nail polish collection is going from "mostly OPI" to "mostly Essie"...whoops. Anyways, this color just screams Spring break to me - beaches, flowers blooming, positive thinking, and tons of fun! 2 coats is just the right amount for this color and the ideal opacity.

5) Essie "Snap Happy"
Every season has a red. In fact, every month has it's red. Red is the classic nail polish color that you cannot not own! This color is sophisticated and classy, but the coral-ish tone adds some fun and playfulness (is that a word?..) - perfect for Spring! One coat is actually opaque enough, as I've discovered, but I still did 2 - just in case ;)

What are your favorite Spring nail polishes?

St. Patrick's Green

St. Patrick's Day is coming up (March 17, in case you didn't know) and why not embrace the holiday with some green? I put together some of my favorite green things to add some Irish into your everyday outfit.

DKNY Be Delicious I raved about this perfume in on of my previous posts - there's not much more I can say, except that it's green and smells like apples, which to me is the perfect scent to wear on a day like St. Patrick's!

Essie "Mojito Madness" I'm a huge fan of Essie nail polishes - they last long, look good, and come in a ton of different colors! I think this is the perfect St. Patrick's green that can act as a subtle way of adding something-something to your everyday outfit.

Cute cardigan Cardigans are a must for me, but since I have a school uniform that doesn't allow cardigans unless they are uniform - so I don't get to wear them that often, but I love bright cardigans! I only have a couple, since I'm always either wearing workout clothes or school uniform, but I really want to have one of every color!

Tory Burch Reva flats These are a classic - not the green color, necessarily, but still a must-have! I've only heard good things about these flats, but have yet to buy a pair. I think these are such a cute way to add some green into your outfit - they're the perfect shade!

Adorable purse I am in love with this Stella McCartney bag. It's so perfect - the gold accents, the color, the shape - everything about it is so me! An adorable (and super fashion-forward) way to add some Patty into your outfit - probably what I'll be sporting this year.

Are you going to wear green for St. Patricks? Let me know below!

Pick One: Kate Spade Shoe Obsessed

Have I been obsessed with Kate Spade lately or what?? During their 20% off sale I got a wallet, a pair of earrings, and a phone case (haul, maybe?) - I now find myself just browsing her website when I'm bored (...or during class...). In these couple of days - or weeks...time flies when you spend it all online shopping - I've added tons of shoes to my shopping cart (don't worry, I probably won't end up buying any of them - a girl only has so much money...and closet space).

I made a list - or rather, a collage - of my favorite shoes that Kate Spade offers right now. I do realize that these aren't exactly low prices, but as I've probably mentioned before I prefer spending money on shoes rather than, let's say, shirts. Expensive shoes look more expensive, feel more expensive (better quality = more comfort), and will last you so much longer than those pumps you picked up at Forever21 for 20$!

These are the shoes that I ended up adding to my shopping cart... If you're a teenage girl with a shopping obsession (more like shopping problem), like me, then you will probably understand that I won't - I can't - just buy $1500 worth of shoes. Well, in one shopping trip at least :P

I will probably pick one of these and buy that pair - hence the name of the post, "Pick One". I really need some heels for an event that's happening this Summer, but I also need sandals, and I also need cute flats, plus I reeeeeeally need sandals...I should probably stop rambling now.

My favorite (of the moment, at least) would probably have to be the Billie Heel - the shape is so classy and the cork texture gives the shoe such a Summer-y feel!

Let me know which one of these you would get!

What's On My iPhone (Upgraded!)

I made a "What's On My iPhone?" post right when I first started blogging - it was right about the time I got my first iPhone, so I didn't quite know what I want or need from this amazing device. Now that I've had my iPhone for almost a year - I've figured out what kind of apps I use and what apps I just don't need. Oh, and my background is from Kate Spade, in case you were wondering. I'm not going to go through the basic apps that already come with your iPhone (Safari, Calendar, Notes, etc.) - just the ones that I downloaded separately.

I only have two pages on my phone (more than two drive the OCD in my crazy), I have two folders, and pretty much all of the other apps are organized in a way that makes sense to me - social media in one row, picture editing apps in another. I took screenshots of my screen just to make it easier for you to visualize what my screen looks like.

Metropolitan I live in Moscow (surprise surprise) and I hardly ever take the metro - it's so scary and confusing! But sometimes I just have to - whether it's to go somewhere with my friends or get to a mall when no one can take me there - and this app helps out a ton! The app itself is nothing special - just a map of the Moscow metro, but if you enter the station which you're on and the station where you get to it will calculate the time it will take you to get there and show you the shortest and easiest route. This may not matter for those of you who are from the U.S., but I still decided to include it here - it's on my iPhone, so it only felt fair to do so!

tumblr We all know and love tumblr (and if you don't - have you been living under a rock?!), so this app is a must for me! Nothing special - just makes browsing tumblr from your iPhone more convenient. My tumblr is TexasGals - just in case you wanted to follow!

Facebook Also pretty self-explanatory - I just use this to browse Facebook more comfortably from my phone. I'm pretty sure everyone has this.

YouTube Also super basic - when I run on the treadmill I get bored sometimes, so I turn to YouTube! You'll be surprised at how many hours I can just watch videos - YouTube is basically my life.

Shazam I'm pretty sure everyone knows about this app and has it, but just in case you don't - I'll explain. You know that feeling when you here a song on the radio or in a store and you absolutely fall in love with it and it's stuck in your head for the rest of the day, but you just don't know the name? One of the worst feelings in the world, right? Well, this app fixes the problem in a snap - you just press a button and it gives you the name of the song you're listening to! I don't know how they do it, but it works!

Instagram Pretty basic too - use this app every day, love it, obsessed with it, the love of my life. Nothing much more I can say. Oh, this is pretty much the only reason that I got an iPhone by the way...sorry I'm not sorry :P

Flashlight You don't think you'll ever need this app - but you'll need it a ton believe me! I use it all the time backstage during plays, or just in dark rooms when I can't find the light switch - it's the kind of app that you don't think you'll need, but you do.

PicFrame This I use for editing pictures for Instagram - it's basically a ton of frames that you can use to make collages of pictures. Also great for backgrounds! I don't think it's free (sorry about that) - but it sure is worth it!

Picfx You know that effect that everyone uses on Instagram, the one with the little lights or hearts and you just can't figure out how the do that? This is the app you're looking for. Along with the "bokeh" effects (the light thingies) this also has a ton of super duper smashing effects that Instagram doesn't offer. Also not free - but so worth the 99 cents!

TimerCam This is what I use to take my OOTD pictures (the "no-mirror" ones). It's nothing special - just a timer that you can set for 5, 10, or 15 seconds and then takes a picture.

Colorstram I am obsessed with this app! It's basically just for putting text over pictures - not something you really need, but it's super fun to use.

Mint.com I use this app to manage my bank account - it helps a ton! It's so helpful when it comes to managing you credit/debit card account(s) - and it helps me save and keep track of my money! It shows you how much money you spent on what and is just super helpful when it comes to managing your money. Definitely a thumbs up from me.

RueLaLa I raved about this app in my February Favorites not so long ago - it's an app from the RueLaLa website that you can use to get notifications for upcoming flash sales that (believe me) you don't want to miss! Great app - I use it a ton.

Pinterest Just like tumblr, we all know and love Pinterest. I mean, who doesn't love great DIYs, delicious recipes, and gorgeous clothing pieces that you can stare at all day long?! Whenever my Instagram feed is dead and everyone on tumblr is asleep - I turn to Pinterest! Don't spend much time here, but it's still fun to use.

Sleep Cycle I have been using this app every single day (or should I say night?) since January - it's so cool! You basically turn it on, put your phone by your pillow, and sleep while it tracks your sleeping pattern based on your movement and wakes you up when you're in your lightest sleep. It's also super fun just to look back on how you slept that night (or any other night) and how doing things during the day (working out, drinking coffee or tea, etc.) affects your sleep.

Voxer This is basically a walkie talkie on your phone - so cool! I have a friend who moved to California this past Christmas (I miss you, Anna!) and we use this app to talk a ton! So fun to talk to your long-distance friends without running up the phone bill!

Kik I hardly use this app - it's just that some of my friends prefer this to texting, so if I want to talk to them I have to use this. Nothing special - I'm pretty sure everyone has this app.

55k Quotes I just recently got this app and I've been loving it! It's not really something you have to have to survive - it's just for fun. Whenever I'm bored I really love just browsing through different quotes - some are so inspiring! And besides, we all get in those caption ruts on Instagram when we don't know what to say - this will save the day.

Tracker Lite I decided to set a goal every month to do something once a day (this month it's drinking a cup of green tea a day) and this app helps me keep track of how I'm doing with my goal! It's just a calendar where you can tick off the days that you accomplished your goal - nothing special, but it helps a ton.

Emoji This is the only app that I got that is in the "Random" folder. This folder is pretty much always abandoned - I mean, who needs "Game Center" or "Stocks"??? I never actually open the Emoji app - you just need to have it in order to add little images that you always see on Instagram and such.

Nike Training Club I've also talked about this app in October - and I still use it about twice a week (when I don't have time to go to the gym). The workouts there are super fun to do (plus, they save so much time), but they will kick your butt!

Weight Training Logger I never use this app, so I might delete it soon, but I just can't do it yet. I just have a feeling that I'll use it sometime/need it sometime soon. From what I've seen so far - this app helps you stay on track with your workouts by offering you hundreds of workouts to choose from. I just haven't gotten to use it yet!

MyFitnessPal Hardly ever use this app, too - but sometimes I want to see how many calories I ate in a day (which is basically never, 'cause who cares about calories???) or how much I burned off from a workout (still haven't gotten to buy the Polar watch yet).

Tone It Up I'll be completely honest with you - as much as I love the Tone It Up girls, I seriously regret getting this app. I just can't figure out how to use it - I wish they had a tutorial up or something, 'cause I feel like it would really help me! Oh well.

Nike + iPod This is so helpful when I run, especially outside! This works with the Nike chip that you put into your shoes and helps you track how long and how much you ran, your best mile, etc.

Anyways, hope you guys enjoyed! Let me know if you know of any cool apps I might like!

Favorite Spring Perfumes

I don't think I've ever mentioned this before, but I'm not a big fan of Spring. The weather's usually nasty, and the allergies drive me crazy. One thing I do love about Spring, though, are the scents. I love floral, light, fresh scents - I have so many, I don't think I'll ever use up a full bottle! So, this post is going to be all about my favorite Spring perfumes and why I love them so much. And, believe me when I say this, I love them a lot.

DKNY Be Delicious This is a classic - enough said. You can wear this all year round, really, so if you're thinking about getting this - go for it! Since I'm horrible at describing scents - I did some research. This scent has base notes of white amber; middle notes of apple (no duh), rose, violet, tuberose, and white muguet; and top notes of grapefruit, cucumber, and magnolia. I have no idea what these "notes" are/mean, but I can tell you this - the perfume smells amazing!

Taylor Swift Wonderstruck Now, you can definitely tell that I love this one, because after using it for  3-4 months every day last year, all I have left is the tiny sample bottle you get in the set. Need I say more? The base notes are musk, sandalwood, amber, and peach; middle notes consist of vanilla, honeysuckle, and hibiscus; and the top notes are freesia, tea, blackberry, raspberry, and apple blossom. And, the perfume bottle is gorgeous, too!

Lacoste Joy of Pink I've had this perfume forever, but I can definitely say it's an oldie but a goodie! This is definitely one of my favorite perfumes ever! It's so sparkly, optimistic, and fun - so summery! The base notes are musk and virginia cedar; the middle notes are peony and curacao; and the top note is grapefruit. And who doesn't love an adorable pink bottle on their dresser?!

Miss Dior Chérie (eau de parfum) If I had to pick my all-time favorite night-time scent - this would be it. I read that it's meant to be more of a day-time scent, but it's way too strong for me to wear it in the day time! As always, the packaging is super adorable (I mean, it's Dior) and I heard you can take the bow off and use it as a ring - but can't get it off. Oh well. Anyways, the base notes are vetiver (whatever that is), sandalwood, patchouli, oak moss, and amber; the middle notes are jasmine and rose; and finally, the top notes are mandarin orange and wild strawberry.

Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca If you're passing by me - any time of the year - you will most likely get a whiff of this. I used a huge bottle of this sucker up already (whoops) and I only have the teeny carry-on bottle left, and I really don't need any more perfume, so I try and hardly use this (sniff sniff) until I use up at least another bottle of my perfume... I would describe this scent as effortless, laid-back, carefree - like taking a walk through a garden full of honeysuckles! This perfume has base notes of pear blossom, lily-of-the-valley, cyclamen; middle notes of mint and green tea (I can totally smell the green tea!); and top notes of lemon and clover. But no honey? Whatttt this smells exactly like honey to me! Oh well.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post :)

Update: New Blogging Schedule

As most of you probably know, I have been slacking on blog posts the week before - I was so sick! Originally, my goal was to blog every day in February, and - as it always happens when I promise something blogging-wise - I failed. But that's what second chances are for, right? No, I'm not going to blog every day this month, but I did plan a whole new blogging schedule (well, not that new - just improved).

I have come to realize that blogging every day just won't work for me while I'm in school - no matter how may posts I schedule. I'm just too busy during the day time, and too tired at night! So, this time I decided to make a whole new blogging schedule and hopefully stick to it for a couple of months. I will be scheduling up posts on the weekends, since that is when I have the most free time, and you will see new posts from me every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Hopefully it all works out fine and I will be able to keep up with this - I really will try!

Spring 2013 Playlist

Happy Spring! I am beyond excited for girly dresses, warm weather, and spring break. But beyond that, I am excited for new music. I have been in an absolute music rut these past few weeks - I couldn't find any new songs that I liked and got extremely bored listening to my old playlists! I just recently got out of this rut (finally!) by deciding to just browse iTunes and try to find some songs.

My music taste is pretty weird, because I listen to pretty much everything - country, alternative, rap, R&B, pop - you name it. I usually go for more energetic and dance songs in the Spring and Summer months (gotta get pumped for dem parties) but this Spring I also have a ton of more laid-back songs (most of which are from the "Perks Of Being A Wallflower" album).

Hope you all had a great start to the new season! As usual - leave your requests below!
